When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
God is an investor and not a waster. The kingdom of God invests. You and me are investments and God definitely wants returns from His investment. The breathe of life He has given you is an investment, the talents and gifts are all investments. (Luke 19: 12-19, Matthew 25:14-23).
The question remains, as an investment in God’s Kingdom, what returns are you bringing. As a Christian, , we all have responsibilities, none of us was created without a purpose ( Jeremiah 1:5), and each one is unique to his/her purpose. What are you doing for God? What are you doing good for and in His kingdom? Are you bringing in returns? Are you set to advance God’s Kingdom?
At the end of age, will you be rewarded like the faithful servants (Luke 19:15-19). Or will what you are given, even if little…be taken away because of your lack of faithfulness? ( Luke 19:20-23, 26)
