2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Someone once approached me and asked me how do I always manage to have it all together…truth be told, it is God’s grace in my life, if left alone to myself, I’d be such a disaster. His grace is truly sufficient. There’s a lot more to God’s grace that meets the eye, let us share just some bit of the tip of the ice berg. Let us begin with what you say and what you believe, what you hear and what you choose to believe.
What people say ‘fake it until you make it’ is a lie of the devil. God created you an original, why should you fake it or be a copy, clone or shadow of what and who God created you to be? We were created in his own image and likeness (Genesis 1:27)
If there is anyone we should copy, then it is God and not anyone else because our standard should always be Christ. (Ephesians 4:13). We are to strive to be more like Him everyday…we can never go wrong in this regard. When we were created, each one was uniquely made, He had you alone in mind when He created you, reason why no one else has your fingerprint and so no one else can fulfill the purpose you alone were created to fulfill. Do not cheapen yourself by trying to be someone else, a copy, a mere shadow of someone else.
So how about you ‘faith it until you make it’ – this is what gives me confidence, knowing who I am and whose I am and striving to be more like Him everyday and despite falling, He picks me up all the time and sets my feet on solid ground ( Psalms 23:3), and so I faith it everyday and manage to keep it together because the path of the righteous is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until the perfect day ( Proverbs 4:18)
I am a work in progress, we all are and I’m getting there everyday.
So how about you ‘faith it until you make it’, it surely sounds true and better and it works for sure…
